Our standard data processing agreement is being finalised. We will also sign yours — most clients prefer that, and we have no objection. This page describes the shape of the arrangement while the template is in review.
Who is who
On almost every engagement you are the data controller and Artitech is a processor acting on your documented instructions. We do not use your data for our own purposes, we do not sell it, and we do not train anything on it.
What the agreement covers
- The categories of data and data subjects in scope, named per engagement.
- Where the data is stored, and which sub-processors are involved.
- Our security measures, and how a breach is reported to you and to the National Privacy Commission.
- What happens at the end of the engagement — return, or documented deletion.
- Confidentiality for every engineer with access, and an NDA where you want one.
